Rules for authors

The journal “Izvestia of the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences” (hereinafter referred to as the Journal) publishes articles in the following scientific areas:

OFFICIAL SECTION

Volume for humanitarian articles (text of the article) -no more than 12 pages, for natural sciences – no more than 10 pages. For review articles, exceeding the specified number of pages is allowed.

The following must be sent to the Editorial Board of the Journal in electronic form by e-mail: the text of the article, Information about the authors, Statement of the author, Expert opinion on the possibility of publication, Consent to the distribution of personal data (sample filling – on the website of the Journal). The title of the article, full name of the authors, information about the authors, keywords and abstract in English are attached as a separate file. Articles can be submitted in Russian or English. The article must be carefully edited. Abbreviations of words are not allowed, except for generally accepted ones. Abbreviations are included in the text only after their first mention with a full transcript. Articles submitted to the editorial office go through the Antiplagiat.ru system. The percentage of uniqueness of a scientific article should be 70-100%.

Technical design of articles: The article is submitted in Microsoft Word format. Allowed extensions for files are * .doc, *. Rtf. Page parameters: A4, top – 2 cm, bottom – 2 cm, right – 2 cm, left – 2 cm; from edge to header – 2 cm. Font Times New Roman. The size of the font is 12. Line spacing is 1.5. The indentation of the first line of the paragraph is 1.25. All pages must be consecutively numbered. The point size for annotations, keywords and notes is 11.

Registration of references to literature. When making bibliographic references, including to electronic resources of remote access, one should adhere to GOST R 7.05.-2008. Literature is indicated in the order of citation in the text. In a scientific article, the number of references to sources is no more than 15 sources. If possible, repeat the list of references using the Latin alphabet (References). The Journal has adopted the BGN transliteration standard (TRANSLIT.NET http://translit.net/). In this case, articles from journals that have translated versions must be provided with the title of the article in English, the journal and the imprint (volume, number, page). To optimize navigation in the hypertext site in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on the preparation and formatting of scientific articles in journals indexed in international scientometric databases, the editorial board recommends highlighting the necessary links graphically, font – underlining. Any element of text, including an image, can become a hyperlink.

Registration of tables, formulas, figures. The data presented in the tables should not duplicate the data of figures and text, and vice versa. Tables must be descriptive, have a title and a serial number, headings must exactly match the content of the columns. Each table should be referenced in the article. All explanations, including definitions of abbreviations, are given in footnotes. Figures should be duplicated as separate files. Acceptable formats are TIFF and JPEG. Mode – grayscale or bitmap, resolution no more than 400 pixels / inch. Diagrams – in EXCEL or WORD. Figures must be numbered and signed. References to them in the text are required. Sub-figure captions should be presented in a separate file with the designation of the author’s name and the title of the article, indicating the figure number, with an explanation of the meaning of all curves, letters, numbers and other symbols. In the text of the article, you should indicate the place where the figure or table should be placed, and the serial number.

The number of figures and tables should correspond to the amount of information provided.

Formulas must be executed in a mathematical editor and numbered. Their length should not exceed 80 mm. Simple formulas are required to be typed in the form of text, observing the rules for parsing mathematical expressions. Complex formulas are typed in the form of objects of the editor MS Equation 3.0. Formula editor settings: Full – 11pt; Subscript / Superscript – 7pt; Sub-subscript – 5pt; Symbol – 18pt; Sub-symbol – 12pt. Greek, Russian and numbers – straight. Latin – in italics, except for the stable combinations cos, sin, const, max, min. Mixing symbols from text editors with symbols from the formula editor is not allowed. Do not reduce the scale of formulas, the breakdown of a formula that does not fit into a line into parts by lines is carried out primarily on the signs of the relationship between the left and right sides of the formulas (=,, <,>,,): in the second – on the dots, addition and subtraction signs; in the third – on the sign of multiplication in the form of an oblique cross. The character that breaks the formula when hyphenated remains at the end of the line and is repeated at the beginning of the next.

On the title page of the article, indicate: UDC, title of the article, full names of the authors, provide an abstract to the article at least 250 words, keywords (no more than 8 words), then – the text of the article. A sample of article formatting is on the website of the Journal.
